Stars in her eyes

She glides across the dark blue skies

with stars in her eyes

...waiting, hesitant, expecting 

their paths to collide

...that sweet serendipity

when they burst into flames

and knock off their shells

...the impenetrable walls that they've built 

and guarded over the years.
